Sugar Fortification Manual Part 2

This manual in which technical guidelines are presented to systematize and facilitate the establishment and execution of a vitamin A sugar fortification program is divided into three parts. Part 1, Guidelines for the Development, Implementation, Monitoring, and Evaluation for Vitamin A Sugar Fortification Program, describes why it is important to prevent and reduce vitamin A deficiency and how to go about establishing such a program. Existing strategies are discussed and the basic elements to be considered in establishing an appropriate program for vitamin A sugar fortification are described in detail.
