The Scaling Up Nutrition Technical Assistance Project (SUN TA) is today in Samfya district conducting a one day training workshop with the district’s Communication and Advocacy technical working group (TWG) which serves under District Nutrition Coordinating Committee (DNCC).
The aim of the workshop is to bring the multisectoral team under the Communication and Advocacy TWG up to speed on its role and mandate under phase II of the 1st 1000 Most Critical Days Programme.
The communication technical experts facilitating the workshop have since urged Samfya’s Communication and Advocacy TWG to continue working together to enhance the key programme messages and take advantage of the strength that comes with working whithin a multisectoral team.
The District Communication and Advocacy TWG is a sub-committee of the District Nutrition Coordinating Committee (DNCC), which comprises key line ministries implementing the First 1000 Most Critical Days Programme(MCDP) among other nutrition related actions.
